Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EU reached $50 billion

In 2024, trade between Kazakhstan and other European Union member states amounted to $50 billion, representing 80% of the EU's total trade volume with Central Asian countries. This was announced by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

President Tokayev noted that the European Union remains Kazakhstan’s largest trading partner and the leading source of foreign investment, accounting for more than 40% of the total volume of direct foreign investment in the country.
